Vocal Minds Weathers The Wrath of Hurricane Charley

CAPE CORAL, FL - August 26, 2004 - Vocal Minds Inc. (http://www.vocalminds.com) witnessed history in the making as hurricane Charley-the largest storm to ever pass over Florida since hurricane Donna in 1960-demolished Southwest Florida. The ripping 145 mph winds at the eye of the cane cut through Captiva Island-only eight miles off the coast of Cape Coral-leaving two islands instead of one. Braving 100 mph winds, the offices of Vocal Minds withstood the storm suffering only minor roof and water damage, loss of power, phone and Internet connection. Grid by grid, thousands of rescue and field workers are working around the clock to restore power to the virtually paralyzed community. As the rebuilding continues, Vocal Minds is reorienting itself and trying to straighten out the aftermath as quickly as possible.

VM has multiple major projects in the works and is focused on maintaining that momentum. The second edition of BALLYHOO is nearing the distribution phase and EVNN has been staking its claim in the land of advertising, marketing agencies. Meanwhile the team of PPCA is plugging away at its continued success.
